Joe Ochoa Roofing just completed some work on my house. They were courteous, professional, honest, and fair. I recommend them highly and would call them first if work was needed.
My first appointment to work on my roof was postponed four times. I had called each of the four times to confirm the appointment, the appointment was confirmed. Then there was tardiness, I had called them each of the four times and each time they had given a different excuse of why they could not come. I spoke with the sales representative about the situation. He told me that he would get in touch with the manager . The manager never reached out to me. The number was not given to me at all after I asked for it. After attempting to contact the manager, I attempted to call the owner. The owner heard what had happened , and told me that he still wanted us to confide in him and to give his company, "one last chance," After the fifth last chance, the owner did not contact me at all. This company is very good at marketing and customer service, but from a personal note, I do not want a company that will not work around my schedule, and secondly, after making the appointment, to not follow through with it(four times). I had to work around their schedule, they had postponed things for a month, and I had plans, things to do. Organization, the absence of workers, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism of postponing/tardiness are things that they need to work on, especially if they want to increase their customer retention rate. , Unfortunately, they were to good to be true.
They do not need your business. Called them right after Harvey and was given a time frame of 2 weeks due to the hurricane. I waited patiently but they did not call or show up after 3 weeks. Sent them an email this sunday to their office and their contractor who was informed to come monday after 2:00 pm but have not heard back from their office or the contractor. I did wait for 3 weeks but they do not have the courtesy to respect my request or time and did not feel important to reach out or communicate with me. Well..there are many others who too are busy and have a better rating (BBB) but have the courtesy to call and inform if they are unable to make the appointment or re-schedule. Their loss.
Great long time family owned roofing company. Knowledgeable staff. Roofing crew was clean, efficient, friendly, easy to communicate with. Company has a project supervisor that travels home to home to ensure quality control and oversee crew. Great warranty.
I chose Joe Ochoa for their years of experience. The sales rep was fantastic at offering their product. I was very impressed with what this company had to offer. I had no doubt in my mind because they had a BBB award of Excellence and had other awards to accredit their reputation.
They replaced the roof on the house quickly and efficiently. We did not have to move out our belonging. I met a few family members and I am glad I am able to reside in such and great owner' home. Trust me I know...I manage apartments for a living!
