I lived in these apartments for 11 years with my daughter first, we moved in 2005 after I had a major surgery, the manager then was very nice and helpful to me, I had my son in 2006 and stayed in a 2 bedroom for 8 years, by then we had two different managers. They really didn't care about the tenants but they picked and chose their favorites, I was one but they were shady. I went through hell and high water to get into a 3 bedroom because they wanted to much information so I had to stop child support on my kids dads and one I never received because he was incarcerated, but finally to avail I was able to move into a 3 bedroom. Now lets fast forward. The manager #5 since I stayed there was a bubble brain. My apartment flooded because the sprinkler system in my daughters room went off due to corrosion on the pipes and we had to relocate almost out of the apartments because she said there was no vacant apts( how convenient) which was upsetting but okay. This ditsy lady called me and told me she had an apt for me and gave me a credit on my rent and everything, but I couldn't transfer my lease, I had to start a new lease. I didn't understand but I followed the weave queens instructions as she told me what to put on the app, what paperwork to get and basically the lady set me up to fail. I ended up having to hurry and find somewhere else to move because she called me everyday and made sure I was looking to move before STATE came in to go through paperwork. I found my place I let her know that I was moving and I was not on a lease at this time because I would not be approved due to "FALSIFYING DOCUMENTS" that she told me to fill out. So today I pull up my credit report and I have a bill from them for over 3,000 dollars, yeah we are about to go to court because of the old manager who got relieved of duties after I moved out in 2016. WATCH YOUR BACK with these shady apartments.
So far I've only came in to do my application process but the lady Myra was so nice, helpful and patient with me I just had to write this review. Overall the vibe was great from everyone and the staff was very welcoming!
Many of the so called Features like Ice maker are not there. Rules that make no sense are heavily enforced, the pool is only open in the summer, a lot is wrong.
I been blessed to live at the Park at Fort Bend Apartments with me and my 3 kids for 5 years. The community is everything we have Cares Ministry they provide Breakfast for the Residents and Lunch in certain occasions they also pass out school supplies. If you have young children like myself they also offer free lunch program in the summer months. they have an activity room for kids design projects they have swimming lessons residents offer YOGA and ZUMBA classes in the Summer time neighbors are everything not afraid of helping each other out it's defiantly a blessing from God!
So far there customer service is good. Lady called me about 3 weeks ago to inform me a 2 bedroom is coming available soon just in time for my move out date at my current apartments. I was put down on the waiting list couple months ago. Hopefully I get approved, there a lot of good reviews I got to read and a few bad ones too. I believe from the previous management teams. Things seemed to be better now.
